Gooseberry School teaches online safety in a unique way, joining teacher, student and parent together. The student will play an online game (App) at home or in lesson, it is all about, gamification, the teacher has a complete tool kit with monitoring system and the parent can view their child’s performance and be part of their learning journey.

There are a total of 3 Apps which can be accessed via a desktop, tablet or iPad. Gooseberry Student for the child, Gooseberry Teacher and Gooseberry Parent.
Gooseberry Teacher records how each child is reacting to the scenarios and will monitor the class whilst playing. The software will show if a student isn’t responding in the correct manner, it will also allow the Teacher to see exactly how the young person is scoring. There is a total resource with e-safety lesson plans, e-safety workbooks, presentations, posters and much more.

Gooseberry Student is a unique game App. The child plays as a character called Taff, who will face real life scenarios, and learns through consequence and their own reaction. A workbook sits alongside the game and creates a conversation with the teachers and classmates. The game has 6 levels that are adapted to different age groups.

Gooseberry Parent allows the parent to see how their child is reacting within the game, the resource area is full of tips and advice for the carer to learn, and be part of their child’s learning journey. Gooseberry Planet’s goal is to make this a complete and comprehensive resource for the parent.
There are a total of 10 milestones in each level (5 levels in total) and supporting workbooks, e-safety lesson plans and other classroom material. It covers a large area of online safety:
